Primicias, delivers her accomplishments as the OIC-SDS of SDO 1 Pangasinan in her SODA
Behind every accomplishment is a story to tell. One of the things that define us essentially as humans is our capability to dream. Each one of us has aspired, and is aspiring, to achieve something in our lives — a goal that somehow makes us feel fulfilled, and bask in a glowing sense of accomplishment.
Accoridng to Alan Keith, "Leadership is ultimately about creating a way for people to contribute to making something extraordinary happen". Friday the 18th of September was remarkable in the entire Division of Pangasinan I for a year of service and nobility. Schools Division Superintendent Shiela Marie A. Primicias delivered her second State of the Division Address (SODA)via FB livestream. It focused on the unending accomplishments of SDS Primicias since the day 1 of her administration at SDO I Pangasinan. Her leadership has been marked by some advances in innovation and equity. With her excellency in different projects and activities given to all the teaching and non-teaching personnels of SDO I Pangasinan, the outputs were successful. The implementation of digitization of learning materials in different learning areas and suggested daily activities for teachers and students. Organizing Oplan Bayanihan sa Bayan ni Juan made its way wherein LGUs supported the different activities amid COVID Pandemic. Upgraded human resource management, early kick-off of Balik and Brigada Eskwela, one day appointment for the newly hired and promoted teaching and staffs of SDO I Pangasinan, establishing virtual access using different social media platforms (fb, website and youtube). The pandemic programs where everyone in the SDO I Pangasinan participated . SDS Primicias set the direction and toned while responding to the needs of the teachers, learners, stakeholders and the whole community of SDO I Pangasinan. The concerted effort to communicate the needs and accomplishments of the district in a variety of formats: through written reports, communication with the media, public meetings and attendance at school events. She took into account differing viewpoints of various constituencies, and then make the best decision, and that makes her the best version of her leadership, transparency and selfless love to its people. With so much determination of her and the passion to lift up her heart for the untiring service through entire SDO I Pangasinan. The journey of SDS Primicias is also our journey. Wonderwoman said, "Bonds of love never make the wearer weaker, they give her greater strength".

MIS Principal Featured in Online Radio
Dr. Paglingayen Graces DepEd’s “Leksiyon Pangasinan: Radio Na, Paralan Pa”
The school head of Mabulitec Integrated School (MIS), Dr. Christine M.
Paglingayen, is indeed on a roll since assuming the institution’s top post on
February 17, 2020.
Just a day ago, Dr. Paglingayen graced the official online radio of SDO1
Pangasinan DepEd, that is, the “Leksiyon
Pangasinan: Radio Na, Paralan Pa.”
The online radio program was hosted by Sir Joseph Canilang Bacani and
Sir Richard Marzan and focused on the preparedness of the department including
MIS in delivering instructions amid the COVID outbreak.
Dr. Paglingayen had announced that MIS is 99% ready in coping up with
learners’ needs when the SY 2020-2021 formally opens on October 5, 2020.
The former San Julian principal said that the people behind the
department are now more “creative and
innovative…, discovered opportunities in these situations… and are [vent on]
maximizing the technology in delivering instructions.”
As of now the MIS teachers are attending series of webinars on
psychosocial, mental and instructional preparedness.
MIS had just upgraded its internet connectivity and it is expected to
cater to the information needs of the learners while observing maximum health protocols.
Moreover, the institution is also ready to lend its computer tablets for peer
teaching.
After careful evaluation on the possible expenses in producing the learners’ materials, Dr. Paglingayen stressed that “four (4) reams of coupons are expected to be used by just one teacher.” She added, “baka magkaroon ng problema sa coupon bonds.”
Dr. Paglingayen is indeed a work in progress. The school is bound to
have 8-classroom 4-storey building, and CCTVs in the coming months and had just
initiated sweeping programs and initiatives that have benefitted the school so
far.
Dr. Paglingayen assured to the stakeholders of Mabulitec and nearby
villages that MIS is more than ready to serve the learners on its fold.
