3 o’clock Habit Strengthens MIS Spiritual and Moral Recovery Program

To strengthen the spiritual and moral recovery program (SMRP) of Mabulitec Integrated School (MIS),  spearheaded by Dr. Christine M. Paglingayen, School Principal, MISians embraced the 3 o’clock prayer habit also known as Divine Mercy “Say a Little Prayer” Movement as an organized prayer or worship held every 3 o’clock in the afternoon from Kindergarten to Senior High School.
Class advisers led their classes in this 2-minute prayer in remembering the passion of our Lord in praying for peace for the whole world and to develop in them the act of being prayerful.
With this program, ‘Pagmamano’ is also made a practice by every learner of MIS as an honoring-gesture or a sign of respect to elders and in review of DepEd Order 126, s. 1991, otherwise known as Development of the Values of Respect for Elders and of Cleanliness issued by the Department of Education in 1991.
Moreover, MIS teachers awaits for the proposed House Bill  No. 5829 or the Good Manners and Right Conduct(GMRC)Act to be enacted in law wherein GMRC will be made a core subject in the K to 12 curriculum for they believe that this would be of great grant-in-aid to intensify the revival of spiritual and  good morals of today’s youth.
If all of these will put into practice, learners will be more motivated to become courteous and spiritually conscious.
