MIS resumes flag raising ceremony
In compliance with the DepEd
Memorandum 23, s.2020 or Lifting of Suspension to Convene in Public Places, Mabulitec Integrated School (MIS) resumed the conduct of flag raising ceremony held at its quadrangle, Feb.24, 2020.
John Jayvee S. Vinluan, a Grade Eight student, led the National Anthem while Lourein B. De Vera took charge in leading the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas.
It is remembered that all activities that involve learners and teachers are suspended in February. Flag raising ceremony is one of those and will be held in respective classrooms because of the directive of the Department of Education to avoid crowding amid Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19).
After the ceremony, Mrs Lily L. De Vera, Master Teacher I discussed about the DM 23, s.2020 or Lifting of Suspension to Convene in Public Places . Also, she reiterated the COVID-19 awareness and prevention. “ Prevention is better than cure,” Mrs. De Vera said.
“Ways and preventive measures like proper handwashing, food safety, and healthy lifestyle are still important even the suspension is lifted,” she added.
MIS is now ready to take part in any school activity.
