Health essentials distribution brings
joy to teachers, non-teaching staff, students
Leaders who are born
to lead with their head and heart together
are bound to become even more successful with their careers and make a huge
difference in the lives of the people under their care.
Fondly called Ma’am SMP, Dr. Shiela
Marie Primicias, the dynamic and well-loved supervisor of SDO1 Pangasinan just showed
her immense love to the teachers and students by pouring in on priceless gifts,
this time to the students, and teaching and nonteaching staff of Mabulitec
Integrated School.
In a short yet memorable Health
Essentials Distribution program which was conducted in the school’s faculty
office on January 13, the teachers received
a lot of cool treats such as jackets, Happy to Serve T-shirt with collar, umbrella and goodie bags that
contain facemask, face shield, alcohol, vitamins and soap. The gift giving
proved to be very timely and useful since to date, the COVID outbreak is still
unstoppable.
The elementary students are also slated
to receive health essentials goodie bags on January 18, 2021. Each bag contains
facemask, toothpaste, toothbrush and soap.
The jackets that were given to the
teachers together with the health essentials bags that will be handed out to
the primary students were donated by Ma’am SMP. Moreover, the budget used to
purchase the health essentials that were provided to the teachers came from the
division on which Ma’am SMP is at the helm.
MIS school head, Dr. Christine M.
Paglingayen together with the Gender and Development (GAD) coordinators from different
school levels spearheaded the distribution program. Ma’am Portia Castisimo
(Elementary), Mary Grace Coronia (Junior High School) and Sheila Delos Santos (Senior
High School) assisted Dr. Christine in distributing the health essentials
treats by department.
“The distribution of health essential is a must since it makes the
school’s staff to be always aware of the COVID threats and protected,” said Dr. Christine and added, “The
teachers are also playing an important role since they are also serving as
frontliners and it is a must that they should be provided with health
essentials.”
Aside from Dr. Christine, Master
Teacher and Elementary Focal Person Lily De Vera Elementary, Head Teacher
Jovita Garan, Junior High Focal Person Geronimo Espiritu and Senior High Renante
Orenza also graced the program.
The teachers all of them present in
the program are upbeat on the treats, as the faculty room was filled with too
much excitement and joy. The teachers even flaunted their jackets and goodie
bags in countless photo opps. They had also prepared two special videos that
that were posted in Facebook to give thanks to Ma’am SMP.
Because
SDS SMP Cares, “Sama-Samang Pagsulong Tungo Sa Katatagan sa Gitna ng Bagong
Normal,” quoted Ma’am Sheila. Maraming salamat po Ma’am Sheila.
