MIS Unveils Relaunching of Gulayan sa Paaralan

                One Team, One Goal
Mabulitec Integrated School has just officially unveiled its Relaunching of Gulayan sa Paaralan in the weekly flag ceremony program hosted by the elementary at its quadrangle on February 22, 2021.
Division PTA vice president and Municipal PTA president, Sir Voltaire Dela Paz Tolentino served as the event’s guest of speaker. The nephew of the former Philippine Vice President, Arturo Tolentino, Sir Voltaire lived up to his billing as a worthy speaker by providing the school with essential information about this year’s edition of the vegetable gardening competition which is participated annually by many schools not only in the district but in the entire division.
The presence of Sir Voltaire is indeed valuable and timely since the school is busy and serious in securing a bountiful harvest this year to lessen the impact of the COVID pandemic and at the same time hopeful in landing in the winner’s circle.
“Work in silence, let your success be your voice,” Dr. Christine M. Paglingayen said on her weekly school update to give further inspiration to the teachers with their work and continuous efforts with the Gulayan.
The event coincided with the first year anniversary of Dr. Christine with MIS as a principal and later hosted a memorable fete after the event to celebrate her milestone. The former head teacher of Malasiqui NHS has already come a long way and done a lot of great developments for MIS after just one year of stay with the school.
Sir Voltaire and Dr. Christine later forged a tandem to give fun and excitement to the teachers by hosting a raffle draw and Q and A contests. Sir Voltaire donated (5) microphones worth P450 each and Dr. Christine donated a Globe Broadband Wi-Fi and Globe loads as prizes that are up for grab for the teachers.
PTA president Juanito Salinas, Barangay Captain, Pablo Espiritu and Barangay Councilor, Virgilio Pinlac also graced the event and provided worthy messages in the event.
Sir Voltaire was accompanied by PTA municipal board of director Ma’am Lorna L. Lopez. Ma’am Lorna provided also important details about the Gulayan competition in an interview with her.
The event saw Ma’am Portia Castisimo and Sir Christian Aquino serving as emcees, Ma’am Lea Lambino leading the COVID prayer, Ma’am Violeta Ferrer spearheading the Panunumpa sa Lingkod Bayan, Ma’am Lily taking the cudgels of introducing the honorable speaker and Sir Jaime Ferrer wrapping up the event with his Closing Remarks.

To promote security and safety of everyone against the CoViD-19 pandemic, Mabulitec Integrated School uses the advantage of digital system of acquiring information to the visitors, guests as well as the personnel who will enter the school premise.

The school launched the use of iGuard Digital Logbook and Contact Tracing System to make sure that all individuals who will go to the school for some important matters such as distribution and retrieval of SLMs will be contactlessly recorded by swipping the generated unique QR code to the dedicated scanner of the system.

Through the leadership of the school principal Dr. Christine M. Paglingayen and to the immediate action of the teaching personnel, the creation of the QR codes for all the learners from Kindergarten to Senior High School has been successfully driven.

Teachers start painting the school green once again

A force to reckon with in the municipality of Malasiqui in the past several years in the Clean and Green and Gulayan sa Paaralan competitions, the Mabulitec Integrated School  (MIS) has just unfurled its annual Gulayan sa Paaralan program on February 10, 2021 in the institution’s premises.

MIS school head, Dr. Christine M. Paglingayen spearheads the schools bid and she is backstopped by all teachers in the Elementary and Secondary departments as well as the school’s non-teaching staff.

Dr. Christine quipped, “Kung May Flower festival sa Baguio, gagawa tayo Gulayan Festival sa MIS,” as she challenged the teachers to summon their planting expertise to the hilt for the said program.

The teachers, led by Mrs. Jovita C. Garan (Secondary) and Mrs. Lily L. De Vera (Elementary) were divided in to three teams to tend to the cleanliness of the school as well as its vegetable gardens, theme parks and collection of ornamental plants.

Mr. Jaime D. Ferrer and Mr. Julius P. Fernandez were named as Gulayan sa Paaralan Coordinators in Elementary and Secondary, respectively.

The assigned in-charge of the schools beautification and cleanliness were Mrs. Marites V. Salinas (Elementary), Mr. Jayson P. Lamsen (JHS) and Mrs. Sheila D. Delos Santos (SHS).

Mrs. Marites V. Salinas (Elementary), Mrs. Jennifer S. Salinas (JHS) and Mr. Eugene V. Geminiano (SHS) were designated as in-charge of the school’s theme parks and ornamental plants.

Lo and behold, the teachers were in full force and showed their immense support for the program as they gathered the needed gardening and cleaning tools and immediately played their respective roles in the program. The sight was indeed startling as teachers displayed solidarity and their immense love for the school.

SHS ICT Coordinator, Mr. Santos H. Valdez, Jr. said, “We will attempt to be the best.” Mr. Santos together with Mr. Renante Z. Orenza and Mr. Ferrer showed the school’s readiness in the said program with a fine start in the SHS premises by coming up with a vertical garden and planting vegetables such as eggplants, tomatoes, and kamote to boost further the existing school’s garden in the JHS grounds.

The program receives a big boost as throng of generous teachers poured their support to the program.

Here’s a short list of donors in the said program:
