In line with the directives of Schools Division Office I Pangasinan , OIC Schools Division Superintendent (SDS), Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias , Mabulitec Integrated School (MIS) Principal, Dr. Christine M. Paglingayen announced in the teleconference , June 1, that all MIS teachers will work from home starting June 1 until 5 to continue the status quo on work arrangements for teaching and non-teaching personnel of school and to reduce possible exposure of teachers and learners to CoViD-19.
Said directive is along with the DepEd Memorandum No. 54 s. of 2020 of Education Secretary Leonor Briones or the reiteration of the advisory in line with work arrangements in Department of Education (DepEd) in connection to the new developments regarding the situation of COVID-19 pandemic.
With this, MIS under the leadership of Dr. Paglingayen remained committed to find ways to make teachers’ WFH productive and continuous and to provide learning opportunities to learners while staying at home.
“Hindi nagtatapos sa apat na sulok ng classroom ang learning ng bata but whenever there is an opportunity to learn kaya hindi hadlang ang CoViD-19 para ang bata ay hindi magpatuloy, let us help our learners to make their stay at home fun and exciting by joining the suggested activities of the SDO1 Pangasinan,” Dr. Paglingayen said during the teleconference.
She also emphasized that the first two weeks of enrollment in public schools will be done remotely which means that the learners from Kindergarten to Grade 12 will be contacted by their previous advisers through social media account or short message service or SMS.
