MIS SBM Corner by Marites B. Gonzales-Teacher III

School-based Management (SBM) is a DepEd thrust that decentralizes the decision-making authority from Central Office and field offices to individual schools to enable them to better respond to their specific education needs.
With the implementation of SBM, the school employed to have the sets of principle which will inform us regarding on school performance status and other related school duties and functions which are important points of information. The main goal is to improve learners achievement and school performance to better highlights the learners as the center of SBM practice and to improve the school system’s capacity to be on track in achieving the Education for All (EFA) / Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) and sustain good performance. In connection, MIS SBM team through the strong leadership of Dr. Christine M. Paglingayen is making a way to follow the standards in the preparation of needed documents based on the SBM checklist.
