Teleconference connects MIS teachers amid CoViD-19 by Marites B. Gonzales-Teacher III

In view of the DM No. 43, s. 2020 or the Guidelines on the Alternative Work Arrangements in the Department of Education in Light of the CoViD-19 Stringent Social Distancing Measures, Mabulitec Integrated School (MIS) under the supervision of the School Principal, Dr. Christine M. Paglingayen, held a teleconference with its teaching personnel, March 18, 2020.

The need of the checking of daily attendance from Mondays to Fridays (anytime from eight o’clock in the morning to  five o’clock in the afternoon), status of forms, payables, reports submitted, and COVID-19 awareness were the agenda of the said teleconference.

This teleconference aimed to communicate dispersed employees with administrators or to conduct meetings and to monitor the so called “ Work from Home” by phone or online. Consequently, MIS used this system with strategic discussions to make the communication system more effective while working at home, likewise, in observance of  the Enhanced Community Quarantine over the entire Luzon as per directive of the President Rodrigo Duterte to help contain the spread of the virus.

“ Stay at home and wrap ourselves with prayer,” Dr. Paglingayen said as she ended the teleconference.
