MIS supports rabies awareness month by Marites B. Gonzales-Teacher III

In view of the Presidential Executive Order No.84, s.1999 and in conjunction with the Republic Act No. 9482 known as the Anti Rabies Act of 2007,  Mabulitec Integrated School (MIS) headed by Dr. Christine M. Paglingayen conducted activities about rabies awareness and preventions, March 12.

This year’s activity, which unfolded under the overarching theme, “ Rabies ay iwasan, Alagang Aso’t Pusa ay pabakunahan, ” aimed to provide proper knowledge on the prevention of the disease and its management.

In connection, Health Coordinators, Mrs. Carmela P. Magalong (Elementary) and Mr. Erwin B. Tantay (Secondary) prepared lectures and videos about rabies awareness and preventions from Elementary Department to Secondary.

The theme “ Rabies ay iwasan, Alagang Aso’t Pusa ay pabakunahan, ” was displayed  on bulletin boards.

“Dog is a man’s best friend but once this pet becomes threat to human lives, it can be our most dreadful foe. A dog bite infected with rabies is a death sentence,” Mrs. Magalong said during her lecture.

“ Mag-iingat palagi, huwag makipaglaro sa aso o sa anumang hayop na nangangagat at kumonsulta agad sa doctor kung ikaw man ay nakagat,” she added.
